Magnito Digital, one of the leading digital marketing agencies of Bangladesh, has won the gold award and became the Campaign Asia-Pacific - Digital Agency of the Year 2015 in the Rest of South Asia category.
The event took place at ITC Grand Central Hotel in Mumbai on December 7.
Magnito Digital was the only Bangladeshi agency among the winners in the digital agency category. It was also the only independent and non-affiliated agency, shortlisted across all categories in the region.
Riyad SA Husain, CEO of Magnito Digital, received the award on behalf of the company.
Since 1994, the Agency of the Year Awards is one of the world's most prestigious awards in the advertising industry. This Award is assessed not only based on successful campaigns, but it also looks at all aspects of an agency. The results are tabulated by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and it is the only awards programme that honours agency performance as a whole, at both local and regional level.
Magnito Digital provides digital communication support to the Access to Information (a2i) Program at the Prime Minister’s Office.
As the first digital agency of a government organisation, Magnito Digital made government services related information more accessible to the masses through social media and enabled greater understanding of the government’s innovations and initiatives through clear, defined communication.
