To celebrate “Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW)” in Bangladesh, ‘’Startup Bash’’ has organised an exclusive week of exciting events. Designed with diverse components for aspiring entrepreneurs, the “Startup Bash” will take place at several venues including EMK Centre, BASIS, NewsCred and American Club in Dhaka.

“Global Entrepreneurship Week’’ has been observed worldwide since 2008. Since inception, around 10 million people in 125 countries have participated in GEW programmes. A number of initiatives have been taken up in Bangladesh on the occasion of GEW to motivate budding entrepreneurs during the week-long festival.

The programme includes areas such as creating the bridge between entrepreneurs and investors, working with business models, showcasing the stories of successful entrepreneurs, solving different problems through business and achieving success by using technology.

Organiser of “Startup Bash’’ and CEO of Fortuna Fayaz Taher said: “At present, entrepreneurs are not only creating jobs, but also working to solve social issues. Our goal is to drive the young entrepreneurs in Bangladesh to formulate new and innovative ideas and lead them to create more jobs for the national economy and solve social problems as well.”
