Artists from Bangladesh, India and Nepal are participating in this exhibition
RoyJatra-through the art, an art restoration service, will organize an online art exhibition to showcase the “new normal” in the time of Covid-19 pandemic through the eyes of artists.
The exhibition titled “The Art of Our Lives – Emerging Artists Exhibition 2020” will be held on RoyJatra’s website from August 20 to August 27, where talented young artists will showcase the art of their lives.
Daily lives of people have gone through drastic changes over the past few months due to the global pandemic while re-adjusting with the “new normal.”
As the world continues to adjust with the changes in every way of life, young artists struggle to find inspiration in these unusual times. This exhibition is meant to inspire them and give a platform to showcase their efforts to the world.
Five renowned and eminent artists of Bangladesh -- Ekushey Padak winner Shamorjit Roy Chowdhury, Nasir Ali Mamun, Mostafizul Haque, Nasim Ahmed Nadvi, and Dewan Mizan Rahman -- will grace the exhibition as jury members.
Both young and established artists from Bangladesh, India and Nepal are participating in this exhibition.
Artists such as Ajaya Deshar, Roshan Pradhan, Kanchha Kaji Bhasima Srizit and Riya Bajracharya will also take part in this exhibition. Moreover, members from an international art organization based in Nepal known as Young Picasso are participating as well.
