Dhaka's rail link with Sylhet resumes

Sylhet's train communication with Dhaka has resumed after a four-hour snap. The Sylhet-bound freight train's car went off the tracks near the Shaestaganj Railway Junction around 12:30pm on Thursday. Shaestaganj Railway Station Master Moajjal Haq Reza said the communication was restored around 4:30pm. It is unclear what caused the accident. A train was brought to the spot from Akhaura to rescue the derailed car, Shaestaganj junction's Senior Engineer Ruhul Akhter said.
