Special Public Prosecutor of Habiganj Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal Abul Hasem Mollah Masum told the Dhaka Tribune that: ‘‘District and Sessions' Judge Mahroja Parveen on Thursday noon has sent the case to the children court from the tribunal”. Besides, the new court fixed September 7 for its hearing. On February 17, local police recovered the corpses four schoolboys - Zakaria Ahmed Shuvo, 8, son of Wahid Miah; his two cousins – Tajel Miah, 10, son of Abdul Aziz; Monir Miah, 7, son of Abdal Miah; and Ismail Hossain, 10, son of Abdul Quadir; from a ditch in Shundratiki village under Bahubal upazila, four days after they went missing. In the incident, four of the accused – namely Jewel Mia, his younger brother Rubel Mia, Shahid and Arzu – gave confessional statements. A total of five accused are now behind bars and other accused, Ustar Mia, Boshir Mia and Belal Mia are on the run.
