Victims’ families to get Tk2 lakh each

State Minister for Labour and Employment Mujibul Haque Chunnu made the announcement in the afternoon. He said: “The families of the deceased will get Tk200,000 each as compensation from the Workers’ Welfare Foundation.” Earlier in the day, Joint Secretary of the Director of Labour SM Ashrafuzzaman, said: “The injured will avail Tk100,000 from the labour welfare fund.”
