PM lays foundation of Bangabandhu Media Complex

The foundation was laid on the occasion of 62nd founding anniversary of National Press Club on Thursday morning. Later, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina addressed the ceremony as the chief guest while National Press Club president Muhammad Shafiqur Rahman presided over the programme. The new complex would have cineplex, library, media museum, guest house, dormitory, helipad etc, according to the plan. Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, Prime Minister's Media Advisor Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, Chairman of Editors' Council Golam Sarwar, President of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) Monjurul Ahsan Bulbul also attended the programme.
