
She expressed her view in a seminar on “Education for Every Citizen-building a Digital Platform for Education and Learning” organised as a part of Digital World 2016 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the city.
Rena Chai said enriching capabilities of teachers and quality of teaching methods will significantly improve the education system if the system is digitilised.
Local students will be exposed to global content and the education system will not be limited to the resource capabilities. With the right tools in place, education system no longer needs to limit its quality and stability to the traditional challenges such as numbers of institutes, teachers, and so on, she added.
The speaker said digital education is a journey that can only be achieved through collaboration. Government, educators and communities need to come together to encourage everyone to learn and help them envision their future with the help of education and knowledge through digital platform.
Mustafa Jabbar, president of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Service (BASIS), said digital education is a key challenge to the nation.
The educators should expand their knowledge for digital education, said Sohrab, secretary of the Ministry of Education.
