Monir's wife Tahmina Akter filed the case with Daudkandi police station on Tuesday night accusing 13 identified and seven unidentified people, says its OC Abu Salam Miah.
When contacted, the OC declined to disclose the names of the accused saying that: “Police have been carrying out drives to arrest them.”
A gang of armed men attacked the car carrying Monir at Gouripur on Tuesday morning when they were going to Comilla to appear before a court.
The assailants dragged Monir out of the car and shot him. They also shot and hacked other car passengers.
Later, Monir and Mohiuddin died on the way to the DMCH.
