Law enforcers are saying that the trio might have been killed by their rivals while family members claiming that they were shot dead by RAB personnel, as members of the elite force had picked them up from Natore the day before they were found dead in Dinajpur.

Meanwhile, the three Jubo League activists were laid to rest at Kanaikhali graveyard yesterday afternoon.

Before burial, namaz-e-Janaza of the deceased was held at Kanaikhali playground.

The bullet-riddled bodies of the three were found in Kolabaria area under Ghoraghat upazila of Dinajpur on Monday.

Later, Natore unit Jubo League, the youth front of the ruling party Awami League recognised Redwan Ahmed Sabbir, 25, son of Sona Mia, Abdullah, 25, son of Lutfor Rahman Lopu and Sohel, 27, son of Kalo Miah, as their activists.

Hamidul Alam, superintendent of Dinajpur police, then said miscreants might have killed them over previous enmity.

After recovery of the bodies, families said some people identifying themselves as RAB personnel picked them up on Saturday. Since, he remained missing.
