PM has 'grave concerns' over deaths along India border

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said the continued deaths of innocent Bangladeshis along the border with India are "a matter of grave concern", reports UNB. However, PM Hasina also said during her address at BGB headquarters in Dhaka’s Pilkhana area that she appreciated the role of BGB personnel in recent years in reducing the number of such incidents. "The incidents of deaths in border areas have come down a great extent in recent years due to your efforts for strengthening friendly relations with the BSF," the prime minister said.
