Kazi Arif to be buried in Martyred Intellectuals Graveyard

Freedom fighter Kazi Arif is to be buried in Martyred Intellectuals Graveyard in Mirpur, Dhaka.

Activists, civil society members, fans and family members paid their last respects to freedom fighter, cultural personality and recital artiste Kazi Arif at the Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka on Tuesday at 11am.

His namaj-e-janaza was held at the Dhaka University Central Mosque after the Zohr prayers.

The body was taken to his daughter Antara Binte Arif’s residence in Dhanmondi and will be buried in Mirpur on Wednesday at 3pm.

Kazi Arif passed away last Saturday at a New York hospital.
