Govt relieves 23 assistant attorney generals, appoints 27
The government has relieved 23 assistant attorney generals of their duties and appointed 27 new assistant attorney generals in their place. The appointments were made as per The Bangladesh Law Officers Order 1972, took immediate effect and will remain valid until further notice, BSS reported. Copies of two separate orders in this regard have been sent to relevant offices, including the Cabinet Division. The assistant attorney generals who have been relieved are: Sadhan Kumar Banik, Delwara Begum Bela, Eyadia Zaman, Ms Anwara Khanam, Bilkis Fatema, Md Motiur Rahman Hawlader, Md Abdul Bari, Md Nurul Haque, Md Monwar Hossain, Abdur Rahman Hawlader, Bahauddin Ahammed, Touhida Khatun (Rina), Abu Saleh Mohammad Fazle Rabbi Khan, Md Zaber, Md Mozammel Haque Rana, Khandaker Modarres Elahi (Tiru), Miah Sirajul Islam, SM Asadullah Tarek, Alhaj Md Shahidul Islam Khan, ABM Mahbub, Md Mamnur Rashid, Md Soyeb Khan and Nawajish Ara Begum. The newly appointed assistant attorney generals are: Syeda Sabina Ahmed (Moli), Afifa Begum, Anich Ul Mawa (Arzu), Saira Fairoz, Helena Begum (China), Md Asaduzzaman, Lucky Begum, Md Shafikuzzaman, Mizanur Rahman Khan, Mohammad Akter Hossain, Syed Bashir Hossain Chowdhury, Nusrat Zahan, Abul Kalam Khan (Daud), Sandhya Ghosh, Md Nasim Islam, Md Mozibur Rahman, Md Ashraf Uddin Khan, Mehedi Hasan, Nirmol Kumar Das, Zahir Ahammed, Sathi Shahajahan, Zakir Hossain, Airin Zahan, Prohlad Debnath, Abul Hossain Md Ziauddin, Ashik Rubaiat and Nazimul Islam Raju.
