The Indian High Commission in Bangladesh will not accept the dollar endorsements issued by money changers along with the visa application forms from August 1, 2017.
The announcement has been made on the official Facebook page of Indian High Commission in Dhaka on Monday.Applicants may continue to submit dollar endorsements issued by scheduled/registered banks or copy of bank statements along with their visa application forms as proof of financial standing.
Earlier on June 4 this year, the same office had asked the Bangladeshi visa applicants not to submit fake documents with the visa application following a series of such misconducts being reported.
