One of the major Muslim festivals, Eid-ul-Fitr is observed in Bangladesh with due pomp. A total of 409 congregations of holy Eid-ul-Fitr was held in Dhaka.
One of the biggest Eid congregations of the country was held at Sholakia Eidgah Maidan in Kishorganj. Law enforcement agencies, including Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and police, will ensure security in and around the main Eid congregation.
