Uber, an international ride-sharing service, has recently launched a month-long road safety campaign in the country.
The campaign will involve different matters including engineering, emergency medical services, traffic laws, enforcement and public education, said a press release, reports UNB.
The campaign was kicked off through a video post by its brand ambassador and popular cricketer, Shakib Al Hasan.
Different initiatives including driver welfare program through free eye check-ups and educational workshops, helmet distribution for Uber Moto drivers, and raising awareness on and off-ground to bolster overall safety of riders and drivers will be taken under campaign.
