The font will be launched to commemorate International Mother Language Day
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bangladesh will launch the UN Bangla font and Bangla version of the Human Development Report 2019 on Friday, commemorating the International Mother Language Day.
Foreign Minister Dr Abdul Momen will formally inaugurate the UN Bangla font and the Bangla version of the Human Development Report 2019 at a function at Six Seasons Hotel in Dhaka, UNDP Head of Communications Md Abdul Quayyum said on Thursday, reports BSS.
Kanni Wignaraja, UN Assistant Secretary General, Assistant Administrator and Director Regional Bureau for Asia and the Pacific; and Sudipto Mukerjee, Resident Representative, UNDP Bangladesh; will be present at the function.
