A fresh batch of 88 Bangladeshi citizens have returned from India on a special flight.
These Bangladeshi nationals had been stranded in Mumbai due to travel restrictions to contain the outbreak.
A special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Bangladeshis landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in Dhaka at around 5:55pm on Tuesday, said Tahera Khandaker, deputy general manager (public relations) of Biman.
The national flag carrier is scheduled to operate special flights to bring home Bangladeshis stranded in Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai.
