RAB-6 Sub-inspector Rezaul Islam submitted the charge sheets
The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Wednesday submitted charge sheets against Regent Group Chairman Md Shahed Karim in two separate cases filed over keeping illegal arms and foreign currency.
Sub-inspector Rezaul Islam of RAB-6, who is the investigation officer of the cases, submitted the charge sheets in Satkhira Cognizance Court-6 of Judge Rajib Roy in the afternoon.

Satkhira Court Sub-Inspector (SI) Montaj Uddin confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
Members of RAB arrested Shahed from a bordering area of Satkhira on July 15.
The RAB members also recovered a firearm, some bullets and foreign currencies from his possession.

Law enforcers raided the Mirpur and Uttara branches of Regent Hospital on July 6 on charges of fake Covid-19 certificates being issued and admitted patients charged exorbitant fees by the hospital authorities.
The Regent Group head office, along with both the hospitals, was sealed off and 16 people, including the chairman, were sued on the charge of issuing fake coronavirus test reports.
