Rain, thundershowers likely across Bangladesh

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers over different parts of Bangladesh.

“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Barisal, Chittagong and Khulna divisions and at many places over Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country, “said a BMD bulletin on Tuesday.

Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The country’s maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 34.5°C at Nikli and the lowest one on Tuesday was recorded 24.4°C at Tetulia.

The sun will set at 5:54 pm on Tuesday and will rise at 5:48 am on Wednesday in Dhaka.
