Maizbhandaria community observes Eid-e-Miladunnabi

Eid-e-Miladunnabi was observed with due respect at Mahanagar Natyamanch in Dhaka’s Gulistan area on Friday morning.

A discussion and rally to protest the caricature of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in France were held on the occasion under the initiative of Ashekane Gauchia Rahmania Moinia Sahidia Maizbhandaria.

Alhaj Shahsufi Maulana Syed Shahid Uddin Ahmed Maizbhandari, the patron-in-chief of the organization, presided over the program.

After discussing the life of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), Syed Shahid Uddin Ahmed Maizbhandari prayed for the welfare of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the officials of the government and Muslims throughout the world.

Speaking as the chief guest at the program, Shajahan Khan, president of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Liberation War Affairs Ministry, said: “Islam cannot be established by terror, it must be established through love.”

Shamsul Haque Tuku MP, president of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Home Ministry, attended the program as a special guest. Politicians, eminent personalities, and followers of the organization were also present.
