The weather may remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 6pm on Wednesday.
Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during late night to early morning, said Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
About the synoptic situation, BMD said seasonal low lies over South Bay, extending its trough to Northeast Bay.
Another trough of westerly low lies over sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining area, said a Met officer.
Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may fall slightly over the country.
