The government is working towards creating a non-communal Bangladesh, says the state minister for religious affairs

Amid the ongoing sculpture controversy in the country, the state minister for religious affairs has assured that his ministry will resolve the issue within one week and take measures accordingly. 

State Minister Md Faridul Haque Khan said this while answering questions from reporters in a views-exchange meeting held at the conference room of Jamalpur deputy commissioner on Saturday afternoon.

“The Ministry of Religious Affairs will work to build a non-communal Bangladesh and a solution will be found within one week,” he said.  

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government is working towards creating a non-communal Bangladesh, the state minister added.
