Unicef’s popular children’s animation Meena has been transformed into a full 3D game where the nine-year-old cartoon character will turn social issues into playable games on an entirely new story.
In this new story, Meena presents users with social development ways for expectant mothers' and newborn care where she takes care of her mother and younger sister (the newborn Rani), which can be seen in the next levels of the game.
Besides Meena, there are around 40 different characters, including her father, grandmother, Raju, and pet bird Mithu in the game, says a press statement.
Developed by Riseup Labs, the game touches on the social problems of pregnant mothers and newborns in society which UNICEF Bangladesh wanted to turn into playable games, the statement said.
The game has already been released on Google Play Store and App Store.
