Cabinet has approved an amendment of the existing law so that the result can be published during pandemic without taking any exams
The result of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exams of 2020 will be published by January 28.
The Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul announced it after a cabinet meeting at the Secretariat on Monday.
He said the Cabinet has approved an amendment of the existing law so that the result can be published during pandemic without taking any exams.
“The next session of the parliament will be held on January 18. The amendment will be placed on that day,” the cabinet secretary added.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina chaired the meeting virtually while other ministers and secretaries attended it from the Secretariat.
Meanwhile, the cabinet secretary also said: “After a meeting at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), the primary secretary of PMO has informed that the Covid-19 vaccine will arrive in Bangladesh at the end of this month (January).”
