Md Ehsan-E-Elahi joins as chairman of BCIC

Md Ehsan-E-Elahi, an additional secretary of the government, on Thursday joined as the new chairman of the Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC).

Prior to joining BCIC, Ehsan was chairman of the Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC). He joins as a chairman grade-1, according to a press release.

He has worked at the Planning Ministry, Secretariat, Science and Technology Ministry, Health and Family Welfare Ministry, Bangladesh Railway, Roads & Transport Ministry & Bridge Division.

Ehsan has also participated in various courses in different countries, as well as completed BSC and MSC degrees.
