The discussion covered best practices in investment for first-time and existing investors in the stock market
Dhaka Tribune and ULAB EMBA Program jointly organized an online workshop titled “Get Hired in the Finance and Banking Sector!” on January 28.
The session featured Md Nafeez Al-Tarik, CEO of Asian Tiger Capital Partners, and the discussion was moderated by Sajid Amit, associate professor of ULAB and director of ULAB EMBA Program.
Professor Imran Rahman, ULAB special advisor and dean, School of Business, also participated in the discussion.
Given the popularity of careers in banking and finance, this discussion was organized to help aspiring and current banking and finance professionals pick up best practices in job searching, applying, interviewing, and of course, managing their careers.
The discussion also covered investment best practices for first-time and existing investors in the stock market, and scope of fintech in these sectors and how professionals can prepare for a career in fintech.
The workshop was part of the regular outreach of the ULAB EMBA Program in partnership with Dhaka Tribune. The workshop was also supported by Bdjobs.com and the Digital Finance Forum Bangladesh (DFFB).
