The health condition of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Political Adviser HT Imam is critical.
He is currently undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
HT Imam was admitted to the hospital with multiple age-related ailments including kidney complications two weeks ago.
His condition worsened from Tuesday, reports Bangla Tribune.
According to sources, HT Imam has been suffering from kidney complications for a long time.
Awami League central leaders Advocate ABM Riazul Kabir Kawsar said: “He [HT Imam] was admitted to CMH as he fell ill. He is now in the ICU of the hospital. His condition started to deteriorate since Tuesday afternoon.”
The 82-year-old has been serving as the political advisor to the premier since 2014.
