Tangia Zaman Methila was crowned the winner of Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020 at the grand finale of the beauty pageant.
Methila triumphed over nine other finalists to clinch the title in a national final held at the Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden in Dhaka on Saturday, according to media reports.
Popular Indian model and actress Chitrangada Singh, special judge, crowned the winner.
Farzana Yasmin Ananna and Farzana Akter Ani were the first and second runner-up, respectively.
Methila, a 28-year-old model and actress, was previously named Miss Supranational Bangladesh 2019 and travelled to Katowice, Poland, to compete in the Miss Supranational 2019 pageant.

The new Miss Universe Bangladesh, who succeeds Shirin Akter Shela, will represent the country at the 69th Miss Universe pageant in the USA this May. The last Miss Universe pageant was held in 2019.
The slogan for the Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020 pageant was "Confidently Beautiful."
Prasad Bidapa (India), Mehruz Munir, Ireen Somer Tilgar, Gautam Saha, Bidya Sinha Saha Mim, Riaz Islam, Sara Suleman, and Tahsan Rahman Khan were the judges in the grand finale.
In addition to the winner, five contestants were nominated in five different categories. Farzana Yasmin Ananna was nominated as Miss Congeniality, Apana Chakma as Miss Shining Star, Nidra Dey as Miss Photogenic, Tangia Zaman Methila as Miss Body Beautiful, and Touhida Tusnim Tifa as Miss Talented.
