Biman Bangladesh Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, and China Southern Airlines also got the permission to operate passenger flights between the two countries
US-Bangla Airlines is going to start a weekly special flight on Dhaka-Guangzhou route from Saturday.
Civil Aviation Authority has permitted the airline to run the flight maintaining special health protocols.
Every Saturday the 164-seat Dhaka-Guangzhou-Dhaka flight will leave Dhaka Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) at 10:10pm for China’s Guangzhou.
On Sundays the flight will leave Guangzhou for Dhaka at 5am.
As directed by government, all passengers must have Covid-19 negative certificates at least 72 hours before flying.
In addition, returning passengers have to stay at institutionalized quarantine or hotels for 14 days at their own cost.

Amid the all-out lockdown due to the coronavirus epidemic, Bangladesh has decided the suspension of all flights at home and abroad till April 28.
However, special flights to and from Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Qatar, and Oman continue to operate for migrant workers and people with emergencies.
Cargo planes, special or chartered flights, and air ambulances are outside the purview of the suspension of flights.
