DGHS warns against collecting the Covid negative certificates through brokers
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has decided to transfer the Covid testing facility for people going abroad to Bangladesh Army Stadium in Dhaka.
Prof Dr Robed Amin, one of the spokespersons of the DGHS Covid-19 management team, confirmed the development on Sunday.
He said: “To provide more effective and developed services to the expatriates, we are transferring the rt-PCR testing facilities for them.”
Till now, all the passengers intending to travel abroad have to collect a Covid-19 negative certificate at the DNCC Covid Hospital in Mohakhali.

“Now that it has been designated as Covid-dedicated hospital, they can no longer continue testing Covid samples. So, we urge the expatriates to go to the Army Stadium, instead of crowding at the DNCC Covid Hospital," Dr Robed Amin explained.
He also warned people not to be tempted by any broker to receive the Covid certificate faster or acquire a fake Covid-19 certificate.
“There are some dishonest brokers who are misleading people and extorting money in exchange for fake Covid certificates,” the DGHS official said.
