The accused were arrested from Dhaka's Tejgaon area on Saturday
A Dhaka court here on Monday placed four people on remand for different terms in a case lodged over seizure of lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) and a new but more dangerous drugs N, N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT).
The remanded accused are – Syed Moin Uddin Ahmed alias Shadab, Swapnil Hossain, Abraham Junayed Taher and Simion Khandaker.
Of the four, Shadab and Swapni were placed on two-day remand each, while Abraham and Simion were remanded for a day.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Shahinur Rahman passed the order as police produced the four before the court and pleaded to place them on five-day remand each.
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested the four on Saturday from Tejgaon Love Road area and seized 40 LSD blotting papers, 600 milligrams of DMT, 62 grams of ganja and different materials of inhaling drugs from them.
