Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours, starting from 9am Monday.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Chittagong, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions, according to a bulletin issued on Monday morning.
It also said that moderately heavy to heavy falls is also likely at isolated places over the country.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.
The highest temperature on Sunday -- 35.8 degrees Celsius -- was recorded in Rajshahi and Ishwardi, Pabna.
Since Monday morning, the minimum temperature -- 24.6 degrees Celsius -- was recorded at Dimla in Rangpur Division.
Maximum rainfall -- 100 millimetres -- in the last 24 hours as of 6am Monday was recorded in Sylhet.
