A mild heat wave is sweeping over Rangpur division and the regions of Bogra, Noagaon, Sirajgonj, Mymensingh, and Sylhet and it may continue at some places.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is also likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chittagong, and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, and Barisal divisions with heavy falls at isolated places over the country, a Met Office release said.

The axis of the monsoon trough runs through Gujrat, Madhya Pradesh, the centre of the low, and thence northeastwards to Assam across Gengetic West Bengal and the southern part of Bangladesh.
Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over north bay.
