Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind at many places across the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am on Friday.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at some places over the country in 24-hour till 9am tomorrow,” said a Met Office bulletin issued on Friday morning.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin added.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6am on Friday was recorded 71mm at Chandpur in Chittagong division.
Country’s maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 36.5°C at Saidpur in Rangpur division and minimum temperature on Friday was 23.2°C at Gopalgonj in Dhaka division.
Friday’s sunset at 6.38pm and Saturday’s sunrise at 5:30am in Dhaka.
