The media is “doing nothing” for her, says the Dhallywood actor
Dhallywood actor Pori Moni, who has been placed on a fresh remand on Tuesday, claimed that she has been framed in false charges.
She also blamed the media for turning a blind eye to her misery.
"The media is seeing everything but not doing anything, while I'm being framed," the actor shouted as she walked out of the court after the judge granted police two days to quiz her in a narcotics case.
Earlier in the day, police produced the actor, her aide Ashraful Islam Dipu, producer Nazrul Islam Raz and his manager Shobuj Ali in court following the completion of a four-day remand in the case filed with Banani police station.
Investigators moved a petition for a five-day remand, but the court granted two days.
Police also secured a separate court order to interrogate Raz and his Shobuj Ali for four days in a pornography case.
