Air bubble flights will be resumed from Sunday
Passengers travelling from Bangladesh will be subjected to mandatory Covid-19 tests on arrival at Indian airports as the neighbouring countries is set to resume air bubble flights from Sunday.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) published a notification on Saturday to this effect, containing guidelines for the operation of flights.
Irrespective of Covid-19 vaccination, all incoming and outgoing passengers, except children below 10 years of age, have to possess RT-PCR based Covid-19 negative certificates from the government authorized laboratories.

Unless there is a special requirement by the origin or destination country or the airlines, the RT-PCR test shall be done within 72 hours of the intended travel.
All passengers, except those holding tourist visas, will be allowed to travel to India from Sunday, according to a decision taken by CAAB on Friday.
An official notice of CAAB stated that flights would continue to operate in such a manner until scheduled international flights resumed between the two countries.
