A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee will be held on Wednesday evening to review reports on the sighting of moon of the holy month of Safar of 1443 Hijri.
The meeting will be held at the Islamic Foundation's Baitul Mukarram office at 6:45pm with committee Chairman and State Minister for Religious Affairs Md Faridul Haque Khan in the chair, said a press release on Tuesday.
People have been requested to inform the committee, deputy commissioner or upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) of their respective districts over the following phone and fax numbers on sighting of the moon from anywhere of the country.
The telephone numbers are: 02-223381725, 02-41050912, 02-41050916, and 02-9556407 while the fax numbers are: 9563397 and 9555951.
