The actor received bail in the narcotics case on August 31
The investigation officer of the narcotics case filed against Dhallywood actress Pori Moni submitted a report to a Dhaka court on Sunday to return 16 items of her possessions seized as evidence during a raid at her home.
These include her car, cellphone and laptop, said Pori Moni’s lawyer Nilanjana Rifat.
On Sunday, the Crime Investigation Department (CID) of police submitted the report to the court, saying returning the listed items will not obstruct the investigation into the case, said the defence lawyer.
On September 15, Pori Moni appealed to Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court for getting items back.
The court then directed the investigation officer to submit a report on those seized items.
On August 31, Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge KM Emrul Kayesh granted the actress bail in a case filed under the Narcotics Control Act.
The next day Pori Moni walked out of Kashimpur Central Jail after 27 days of her arrest.
Pori Moni was arrested on August 4 following a raid by the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) at her Banani residence
A case was filed against her under the Narcotics Act the following day.
