No new deaths reported
As many as 194 new dengue patients were hospitalized across the country in the 24 hours till Sunday morning.
The death toll from the mosquito-borne disease remained static at 68 this year as no new death was reported during the period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Among them, 63 people died in Dhaka city alone, two each in Chittagong and Khulna divisions and one in Rajshahi.
Among the new patients, 143 were undergoing treatment in Dhaka while the remaining 51 cases were reported from outside the division, according to the DGHS.
Some 955 patients diagnosed with dengue fever are receiving treatment in the country as of Sunday morning.

Of them, 758 patients are receiving treatment at different hospitals in the capital while the remaining 197 were listed outside Dhaka.
Some 18,774 patients have been admitted to different hospitals for dengue since January.
So far 17,721 dengue patients have left hospitals after recovery, said the DGHS.
The number of dengue patients hospitalized in a single day was the highest on September 7, with 343 hospitalizations.
In September, the country recorded the highest number of 7,841 dengue cases this year along with 22 deaths.
In August 7,698 people were diagnosed with dengue while the highest 34 people died of it, said the DGHS.
