Light to moderate rain likely in some places including Dhaka
People in Bangladesh continue to feel the heat due to irregular rainfall and high humidity, say meteorologists.
The temperature will cool down only if it rains continuously, Meteorologist Shahin Alam told Bangla Tribune on Friday.
It will start to feel like winter once the monsoon winds leave Bangladesh towards the end of October, he added.
Several parts of the country, including Dhaka, are likely to witness light to moderate rainfall on Friday, according to the Met Office.

“The axis of monsoon trough runs through East Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal to Assam across the central part of Bangladesh. One of its associated troughs extends up to North Bay. Monsoon is less active over Bangladesh and weak over North Bay,” said the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions, it added.
The highest temperature in the country on Thursday was recorded at 35.6 degrees Celsius in Jessore.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the Met Office said in its weather bulletin.
