They all received primary care at DMCH Emergency Department
At least five people of the transgender community were injured in a clash between two groups realising money on Dhaka University (DU) campus on Friday.
The clash ensued when they were collecting money from students and visitors in front of the DU Central Mosque around 4pm.
Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police outpost In-Charge Bacchu Mia confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
The injured are Brishti, 40, Munni, 40, Komola, 38, Habiba, and Laizu, 28.
They all received primary care at DMCH Emergency Department.
On December 5, a similar clash was reported from the capital’s Uttara.
Eight people were injured in the clash including a passer-by who was recording the incident on his phone.
