On Feb 12 this year, plain-clothed police picked up Dudu near Matshya Bhaban in Dhaka as he was on his way back home from a human chain event in front of the National Press Club, protesting BNP chief Khaleda Zia's imprisonment in Zia Orphanage Trust graft case.
Later, he was shown arrested in two cases filed over violence.
Earlier on Tuesday, BNP Standing Committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy was released from the same jail on bail, more than two months after his arrest.
