A Dhaka court on Thursday accepted charge sheet against six people in a case over the death of two college students in a road accident on the Airport Road on July 29.
Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Kaisarul Islam accepted the chargesheet against Shahadat Hossain, owner of Jabal-e-Noor Paribahan bus, its driver Masum Billah, his assistant Enayet Hossain, owner of another Jabal-e-Noor bus Jahangir Alam, its driver Zobair Sumon and his assistant Asad.
Among them, Asad and Jahangir Alam are still at large. The court issued an arrest warrant against them.
The court also directed the Cantonment police station to submit a report by October 1 on the update of warrant.
On September 6, police pressed charges in the case.
Earlier on July 29, Diya Khanam Mim and Abdul Karim Rajib, first year students of Shaheed Ramiz Uddin Cantonment College, were killed as a bus ploughed through some students in front of the Kurmitola General Hospital on the Airport Road in the capital.
