Three new judges, appointed to the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, have been sworn in.
Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain administered the oath at the Supreme Court Judges' Lounge on Tuesday morning, reports UNB.
The newly appointed judges are Zinat Ara, Abu Bakar Siddiquee and Md Nuruzzaman.
President Abdul Hamid appointed them on Monday—raising the number of judges in the Appellate Division to seven.
