A Dhaka court has fixed June 26 for the submission of the probe report in the murder case of journalist couple Sagar Sarowar and Meherun Runi.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Debobroto Biswas fixed the day on Sunday, after Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) failed to submit the report.
As of now, the probe report submission has been delayed for 65th time.
General Registration Officer of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police station Yusuf has confirmed the matter.
Sagar, news editor of private TV station Maasranga and his wife Runi, senior reporter of another private TV channel, ATN Bangla, were brutally murdered in their rented flat on February 11, 2011.
Later, eight suspects were arrested in connection to the murder of the journalist couple.
