The High Court has dropped from the cause list the writ petition filed by BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia challenging the government's move to hold trial in 17 cases against her inside Keraniganj Central Jail.
The HC bench of Justice Moinul Islam Chowdhury and Justice Md Ashraful Kamal passed the order on Sunday as it has no jurisdiction to hear the writ over a case filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), ACC lawyer Khurshid Alam Khan told UNB.
He said the hearing might take place at the bench concerned.
