BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu has been sued for giving life threat to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at a live TV talk show recently.
Jubo League Joint General Secretary Mohiuddin Ahmed filed the case with at Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Baki Billah’s court on Thursday.
“The BNP leader recently at a talk show on DBC Television said Sheikh Hasina has to go away like her father, Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, making a clear life threat to the prime minister,” Mohiuddin said.
The case file furthered mentioned that the statement has created panic among people and it is tantamount to an attempt on the prime minister’s life. He also pleaded the court to issue an arrest warrant against the BNP leader.
