The High Court has sought the documents of a graft case filed against Awami League MP Haji Md Selim, for which he was sentenced to 13 years in jail.
The court also directed to send the document to Dhaka Special Judge Court 7 by December 7.
The virtual bench of Justice Md Moinul Islam Chowdhury and Justice AKM Zahirul Huq passed the order on Wednesday.
Advocate Khurshid Alam Khan stood for the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) while Advocate Saeed Ahmed Raja represented Haji Selim.
Earlier on November 9, the ACC moved to High Court seeking a hearing date for the appeal filed by Haji Mohammad Selim, 11 years ago, against a special court judgment that sentenced him to 13 years in jail.
On April 27, 2008, a Dhaka court sentenced Haji Selim in his absence on two charges of suppressing wealth information and accumulating illegal wealth.
