Rangs Electronics chairman, 3 others sued in fraud case

A lawyer has filed a case against four Rangs Electronics Ltd officials, including its Chairman Aktar Hussain, on charges of fraud and breach of trust.

Kamrunnahar Liza lodged the case with the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shahidul Islam on Sunday.

Recording the plaintiff’s statement, the court directed the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to investigate the case and submit a report.

The others accused in the case are Rangs Electronics Ltd Manager (Marketing) Mohaiminul Ishak Pratik, Assistant Manager (Marketing) Omar Faruk and Showroom In-Charge Tanvir Hossain.

Rangs Electronics Ltd is a sister concern of Rangs Group of Companies, one of the largest industrial conglomerates in Bangladesh.
